Roseburg Police cited two people following a trespass incident on Thursday.

An RPD report said at around 9:00 p.m. a 31-year old man and a 26-year old woman were allegedly loitering behind Big Lots on Northeast Stephens in an area posted with “no trespassing” signs. The report said the two had piled up garbage and broke up part of a couch and lit it on fire on the store’s pavement.

The pair was cited for second degree criminal trespass and for prohibited outdoor burning.

They were released after the citation was issued.
