MAN JAILED FOR ALLEGED MENACING INCIDENT

A Roseburg man was jailed following an alleged menacing incident on Tuesday.

A report from Roseburg Police said just after 11:00 a.m. 20-year old Sean Morgan reportedly got into a disturbance with a woman at a residence in the 1200 block of Southeast Pine. The suspect reportedly struck the victim twice with a wine bottle, struck her with a door as it swung closed, sprayed her with mace, and threatened the victim with large garden shears.

Morgan was charged with menacing, harassment and for unlawful use of mace. Bail was set at $14,800. The report said the victim refused any medical attention.
