13 NEW TEST RESULTS FOR COVID-19 IN DOUGLAS COUNTY AS OF TUESDAY

13 more people have received new positive test results for COVID-19 in Douglas County, as of Tuesday.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 976. Of those, 908 are people that have received positive test results and 68 are presumptive. There have been 19 deaths. 20 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are being hospitalized, 19 locally and 1 out of the area. 183 people are in isolation. 400 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 583 people that are either in isolation or quarantine.

The update said the Oregon Health Authority is changing how they track and report negative test results. Details on the new tracking and reporting system are still being worked out. 18,584 negative test results for COVID-19 in the county, is the last available number.
