12 COUNTY COVID-19 DEATH, HIGHEST DAILY COUNTY CASE COUNT TUESDAY

On Tuesday, a 12th COVID-19 related death in Douglas County and the county’s highest daily case count for COVID-19 were both announced.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the 86-year old man passed away on Tuesday. He tested positive upon being admitted to the hospital on November 10th.

33 more people have received positive test results for COVID-19 and there is 1 new presumptive case. The total number of cases is now at 678. Of those, 616 are people that have received positive test results and 62 are presumptive. 14 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are being hospitalized, 13 locally and 1 outside the area. 199 people are in isolation. 500 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 699 people that are in either isolation or quarantine. 17,590 people have tested negative for COVID-19 in the county.
