Traffic was backed up on Interstate Five northbound near the Harvard Avenue exit Monday morning, following a five-vehicle wreck.
A report from Oregon State Police said just before 7:10 a.m. a sedan broke traction and collided with a semi-truck and trailer in the next lane. The sedan spun and came to rest blocking the lane, causing traffic to stop. Another vehicle came around the corner and collided with one of the stopped vehicles, pushing it into a second one.
The report said no visible injuries were sustained but several of the occupants reported complaints of pain and said they would drive themselves to medical care to be evaluated.
