COVID-19 CLAIMS 2 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL TO 761

COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 761, as of Sunday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 868 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state case total to 56,880. The new cases include:

*184 in Multnomah County

*176 in Marion County

*110 in Washington County

*86 in Clackamas County

*57 in Lane County

*47 in Umatilla County

*37 in Jackson County

*26 in Yamhill County

*19 in Union County

*18 in Polk County

*16 in Douglas County

*13 each in Benton and Deschutes counties

*12 in Malheur County

*8 in Columbia County

*7 in Hood River County

*6 each in Linn and Wasco counties

*5 each in Coos and Harney counties

*4 in Josephine County

*3 each in Clatsop and Lake counties

2 each in Curry, Klamath and Lincoln counties

*1 each in Gilliam County

The new deaths ranged in age from 66 to 81. Both lived in Umatilla County and had underlying conditions, according to the OHA.
