COVID-19 CLAIMS 7 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 753 AS OF FRIDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 7 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 753 as of Friday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,076 new and confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 53,937. The new cases include:

*247 in Multnomah County

*148 in Washington County

*123 in Marion County

*95 in Clackamas County

*91 in Jackson County

*77 in Lane County

*40 in Umatilla County

*39 in Malheur County

*31 in Yamhill County

*28 in Deschutes County

*26 in Douglas County

*18 in Benton County

*15 each in Jefferson and Linn counties

*14 in Polk County

*10 in Union County

*7 in Josephine County

*6 each in Baker, Coos and Harney counties

*4 each in Columbia, Klamath, Lake and Tillamook counties

*3 in Crook, and Morrow counties

*2 in Hood River, Lincoln and Wallowa counties

*1 in Clatsop, Curry, and Gilliam counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 38 to 87. 2 each lived in Multnomah, Marion Jackson counties. 1 lived in Benton County.
