A Roseburg woman was jailed on a felony strangulation charge on Monday afternoon.

A report from Roseburg Police said at about 2:20 p.m. the suspect and a victim were involved in a fight in the 1200 block of Southeast Washington. During the altercation, 20-year old Megan Hatt allegedly cut-off the victim’s airway and scratched her neck.

Hatt was released from custody later on Monday.
