An Umpqua Community College student has tested positive for COVID-19.

Public Information Officer Tiffany Coleman said the student was last on campus in the Tom Keel Fitness Center, located in the UCC Athletics Complex, on Friday October 30th. Coleman said the student also visited the computer lab in Wayne Crooch Hall on October 28th and 29th. The student is currently quarantined at home.

Coleman said between the visits to the two locations, 23 additional students and 2 instructors are also in quarantine. All people exposed to the case have already been notified.
