Roseburg Police cited a woman in an alleged theft incident on Sunday night.

Information from RPD said just after 11:00 p.m. 28-year old Ashley Basgall reportedly took a taxi ride to the Super 8 Motel but did not have the money to pay for it. The report said that before officers arrived, the 28-year old allegedly pulled the fire alarm at the motel, causing it to break.

Charges included third-degree theft, initiating a false report and third-degree criminal mischief. Basgall was released after being cited.
