Two people were hurt when a vehicle rolled on Weyerhauser property on Sunday night.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said just before 9:00 p.m. a report came in that a man had rolled a pickup in the Callahan mountains, west of Melrose. Fire, medics and a deputy arrived on the scene and located the vehicle and its occupants, almost 100 feet down an embankment.

The male driver and female passenger were helped back up to the road and were both taken to Mercy Medical Center. Both were listed in fair condition at last check, according to a hospital spokesperson.
