All the incumbents up for election in state legislative races in Douglas County were victorious on Tuesday.

State Senator Dallas Heard beat Democrat Kat Stone 69 percent to 31 percent in a First District race.

Second District State Representative Gary Leif beat challenger Charles Lee 71 percent to 28 percent.

In the Seventh District, Cedric Hayden won over Jerry Samaniego 68 percent to 32 percent.

In the First District, David Brock Smith cruised to victory over Calla Felicity 69 percent to 31 percent.
