Zonta’s Dignity Drive has just over two weeks left.
A release said the effort is taking place to help women forced out of their homes with no time to pack, due to an abusive relationship or a pregnancy. Those who want to help are asked to contribute new undergarments or sanitary products to provide dignity as the women work to restore their lives. Items will be distributed to Peace at Home, Adapt/Cross Roads, Safe Haven and other agencies.
Purple boxes are at the three Dignity Drive locations. Items can be dropped off at the YMCA of Douglas County, Reb Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews and at Ten Down Bowling.
The drive continues through November 20th.
