GLIDE TEEN MISSING, DCSO SEEKING PUBLIC’S HELP

A Glide teen is missing, and staff with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help from the public, as they try to locate her.

Sergeant Brad O’Dell said 15-year old Athena Calvin was last seen on Wednesday October 14th, when she left a residence in the 300 block of Alexander Lane in Glide shortly after 3:00 p.m. Calvin is described as being 5 foot 3 inches tall, 110 pounds with light brown hair, and blonde grow out. She is a student in the Glide School District. O’Dell said she was last known to be wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, jeans and white shoes. Deputies believe the girl could possibly be attempting to make her way to Texas.
