COVID-19 has claimed 6 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 605, as of Tuesday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 321 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 37,780. The new cases include:
*50 in Washington County
*45 in Multnomah County
*39 in Lane County
*37 in Clackamas County
*35 in Marion County
*20 in Linn County
*14 in Malheur County
*13 in Jackson County
*11 each in Umatilla and Yamhill counties
*10 in Benton County
*5 each in Clatsop, Klamath, and Lincoln counties
*4 in Curry County
*3 each in Josephine and Polk counties
*2 each in Deschutes and Union counties
*1 each in Columbia, Crook, Douglas, Jefferson, Lake, Tillamook and Wasco counties
The new deaths ranged in age from 75 to 90. 2 lived in Multnomah County. 1 each lived in Clackamas, Marion, Malheur and Yamhill counties.
OHA Director Patrick Allen said surpassing 600 deaths, is an unhappy milestone for all Oregonians.
