The American Red Cross still has an urgent need for blood donations to prevent another blood shortage.

Those who are healthy, feeling well, and eligible to give blood or platelets, are urged to make a donation as soon as possible. Blood drives this week include:

*Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Roseburg Blood Donation Center on Garden Valley Boulevard

*Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Reedsport High School

*Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Church on the Rise, on Diamond Lake Boulevard

*Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Wal-Mart on Stewart Parkway

*Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Masonic Temple in Reedsport
