Cleanup continues on the Archie Creek Fire, east of Glide.
An update from the Northwest Incident Management Team 12 said crews are continuing to identify equipment and supplies no longer needed on the fire and are returning those supplies back to base camp for refurbishment and reuse. Hoses and litter are being collected and removed from control lines, roads and staging areas.
The update said mop up and patrol continues across the fire. Suppression work is continuing to minimize erosion and to protect natural and cultural resources. Hazard tree mitigation remains underway in the southeast areas of the fire as weather conditions allow.
266 people are working on the Archie Creek Fire which is still 94 percent contained.
