Oregon State Police are seeking help from the public in locating those responsible for the shooting and waste of a Whitetail Buck Deer near Glide.

On Wednesday Fish and Wildlife Division Troopers responded to the area of Abbott Street and Mt. Scott Lane in Glide. A deer that had been shot with a small caliber firearm Tuesday morning or afternoon was located.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact OSP at 1-800-442-2068 or the Turn in Poachers line at 800-452-7888. Tips can be emailed as well: tip@state.or.us

Those providing information can remain anonymous and will be eligible to receive a preference point or monetary award for information leading to a citation or an arrest in that case.
