COVID-19 has claimed 9 more lives, raising the state death toll to 581, as of Tuesday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 301 new confirmed and positive cases, bringing the state total to 35,340. The new cases include:
*52 in Lane County
*51 in Multnomah County
*34 in Marion County
*30 in Washington County
*28 in Clackamas County
*12 in Deschutes County
*11 each in Polk and Yamhill counties
*9 each in Benton, Malheur and Umatilla counties
*8 in Jackson County
*7 each in Coos and Linn counties
*3 each in Douglas, Lincoln, Columbia and Clatsop counties
*2 in Jefferson County
*1 each in Baker, Crook, Hood River, Josephine, Klamath, Morrow, Union and Wasco counties
The newest deaths ranged in age from 61 to 93. 3 lived in Malheur County, 2 lived in Marion County, 1 each lived in Washington, Clackamas, Wasco and Multnomah counties.
