One person was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle wreck in downtown Roseburg on Monday morning.
Information from Roseburg Police said just after 10:00 a.m. a 19-year old man was driving west in the left lane of Washington Street as he approached Spruce. A 21-year old woman was traveling in the right lane next to the first vehicle and reportedly turned directly into the passenger rear side of it. The first vehicle went up on three wheels but did not roll over.
The second driver said she had not seen the first vehicle. She claimed she re-aggravated a previous injury and was transported to Mercy Medical Center for treatment. The second vehicle sustained moderate damage and had to be towed away. The first vehicle had minimal damage.
The driver who caused the accident was cited for an unlawful lane change and for driving uninsured.
