One man was taken to the hospital following a bicycle versus automobile accident Sunday afternoon.

A report from Roseburg Police said a 45-year old woman was eastbound on Garden Valley Boulevard when she slowed to make a right-hand turn into the parking lot of News and Smokes. The man, described as a transient, was eastbound on his bicycle behind the sedan, and was unable to slow down in time. His bike collided with the rear of the car when it turned. The man was taken to Mercy Medical Center for a potential fracture. He was treated and released, according to a hospital spokesperson.
