A Roseburg man was jailed for harassment on Sunday.

Information from Roseburg Police said at about 9:00 a.m. the 64-year old was contacted in the 500 block of Northeast Alameda because he was a suspect in an earlier disturbance. He allegedly hit a female victim in that incident.

The suspect was released from custody later that day.
