COVID-19 has claimed 8 more lives, raising the state death toll to 571 as of Saturday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 360 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 34,511. The new cases include:
*81 in Lane County
*58 in Multnomah County
*39 in Marion County
*36 in Washington County
*21 in Umatilla County
*20 in Clackamas County
*18 in Deschutes County
*17 in Jackson County
*9 in Linn County
*7 each in Benton and Columbia counties
*6 each in Coos and Polk counties
*5 each in Klamath, Malheur and Yamhill counties
*3 each in Jefferson, Josephine and Morrow counties
*2 each in Douglas, Lincoln and Wasco counties
*1 each in Baker, Clatsop, Hood River and Union counties
The new deaths ranged in age from 64 to 92. 4 lived in Multnomah County, with 1 each in Marion, Lane, and Umatilla counties. All had underlying conditions, according to the OHA.
