Roseburg Police cited a woman in connection with an alleged forgery case, on Wednesday afternoon.

An RPD report said the 36-year old woman reportedly changed the amount on a check that had been given to her and cashed it, stealing $600. The woman came to the police department at 4:00 p.m. and was charged with second degree counts of forgery and theft.

She was released after the citation was issued.
