MAN JAILED AFTER ALLEGEDLY TRYING TO CLIMB INTO TWO POOLS

A Roseburg man was jailed after allegedly trying to climb into two pools on Tuesday night.

A report from Roseburg Police said at 6:30 p.m. officers were searching for the suspect after an incident took place at the Hampton Inn on Northeast Mulholland. The report said the 44-year old man was found also trying to get into the pool at the nearby Comfort Inn. He was not a guest at either motel and appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance.

The man was jailed for second degree criminal trespass and for a parole violation. He was detained without bail.
