A Roseburg man was jailed on sex crime charges Tuesday afternoon.

A report from Roseburg Police said an adult female claimed that 28-year old Serek Garza had committed the crimes against her at his apartment. A subsequent investigation by detectives led to Garza’s arrest. The suspect and the victim were known to each other.

Charges included 1st degree counts of rape, sodomy, sexual abuse and unlawful sexual penetration. Garza was detained on over $2.1 million dollars bail.
