Roseburg Police arrested a man after he allegedly chased a victim with a knife.
An RPD report said Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m. the suspect was contacted in the 3,000 block of West Harvard. The report said the 37-year old man had chased the victim from inside an apartment and all the way down a stairwell. The victim was unable to get away and into his vehicle. The suspect reportedly wouldn’t listen to officer’s commands and ran out into traffic where he as almost hit by vehicles on Harvard.
The man was eventually tased and taken into custod without further incident. He was charged with second degree disorderly conduct and with menacing. Bail was set at $8,750.
