Redeemer’s Fellowship will host a community blood drive with the American Red Cross on October 1st at their Worship Center Plaza at the corner of West Harvard and Lookingglass in Roseburg.

The event will run from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. To make an appointment to donate go to www.redcrossblood.org.

Executive Pastor Mike Kildal said the church is committed to strengthening the community and helping to meet hospital and patient needs through blood donations. He said its their way of giving the community an opportunity to help save lives during a critical time in the community.

Kildal said with most schools not yet open, blood donations are down as donations from blood drives held at schools, represent 20 percent of all blood donations.

All donors will receive a COVID antibody test as part of their donation.
