A Dense Smoke Advisory is in effect for central Douglas County through 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said visibility is one mile or less in the dense smoke. Hazardous driving conditions are expected due to poor visibility. Drivers should slow down, use their headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of them.
