An Oregon author will have a Facebook Live streaming event Thursday night.

Roseburg Public Library Director Kris Wiley said debut author Jennifer Greer will have the event from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Greer is the author of “A Desperate Place”, a thriller set in Medford, featuring journalist Whit McKenna and medical examiner detective Katie Riggs. Wiley said Greer began her writing career as a journalist, before working overseas as a foreign correspondent. Greer raised her children in Medford and now lives on the Oregon coast.
