NO NEW CASES OF POSITIVE TEST RESULTS FOR COVID-19 IN DOUGLAS COUNTY AS OF WEDNESDAY

No one has received new positive test results for COVID-19 in Douglas County, as of Wednesday.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team, said the total number of cases remains at 182. Of those, 164 are people that have had positive test results and 18 are presumptive. There have been 3 deaths. No one is currently hospitalized for COVID-19 locally. 4 people are currently in isolation. 11,437 people have tested negative for COVID-19 in the county.

The Douglas County Commissioners and Douglas Public Health Network have established a local fire resource hotline for local residents. The current COVID-19 Hotline number can also be used to provide resources without tying up the 911 emergency call center. Information on emergency shelters, livestock and animal boarding, donation locations, volunteer opportunities, welfare check information, food and water resources and health and wellness, is available. The number is 464-6550 and is available 7 days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
