A Level 3 or “GO” evacuation notice has been issued for residents living on Single Tree Lane, Rivershore Drive, and residents living along North Bank Road between the west side of Rivershore Drive and the bridge, due to the French Creek Fire near Glide.

Sergeant Brad O’Dell of the Douglas County Sheriff’s office said Level 3 or “GO” means:

*For those who choose not to evacuate, emergency services may not be able to offer further assistance

*Residents should grab their “go kit” and leave immediately

*Residents should follow their evacuation plan and stay informed.

O’Dell said “We strongly urge residents to leave their homes in the affected area as fire officials have determined there is a significant public safety risk”. O’Dell said DCSO is committed to working with the fire management team to ensure public safety.
