COVID-19 CLAIMS 1 MORE LIFE, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 481 AS OF SUNDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 1 more life, raising the state death toll to 481, as of Sunday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 190 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 28,044. The new cases include:

*50 in Multnomah County

*30 in Marion County

*23 in Washington County

*18 in Clackamas County

*14 each in Lane and Umatilla counties

*13 in Jackson County

*8 in Malheur County

*3 each in Benton, Deschutes, Polk and Wasco counties

*2 each in Linn and Yamhill counties

*1 each in Columbia, Curry, Jefferson and Morrow counties

Oregon’s 481st COVID-19 death is an 89-year old man in Lane County who tested positive on August 27th and died on September 5th at his residence. He had underlying conditions, according to the OHA.
