POLICE SEEKING PUBLIC ASSISTANCE IN LOCATING STOLEN EQUIPMENT

Staff with Oregon State Police are seeking assistance from the public in locating stolen equipment taken during a theft along Interstate Five.

An OSP report said on August 31st troopers responded to a theft from a construction site about three miles south of Canyonville. Sometime between the evening of August 28th and August 31st, a Toro Dingo skid steerTX1000 was removed without permission. That piece of equipment is worth about $30,000.

Anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area during that time or knows the whereabouts of the piece of equipment is asked to call OSP at 800-442-2068.
