ROSEBURG LIBRARY ASKS PATRONS TO RETURN OVERDUE ITEMS

September 4, 2020 3:30 a.m.

The Roseburg Public Library remains open to the public for browsing, checking out materials, and using public computers and Wi-Fi.

A release said the Library has recently seen an unprecedented number of materials checked out. With the increase in checkouts, has come a rise in over-due materials. Patrons are asked to return overdue materials promptly. Even with reduced open hours, the outside book drop is always available for returns.

Library staff has begun to send out overdue notices by email or text. People who have overdue items will be billed on their accounts if the materials are not returned by September 30th.

Currently the library is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The library anticipates expanding its hours starting on September 15th. Updates will be posted at www.roseburgpubliclibrary.org and on the library’s Facebook and Instagram pages
