A U-Haul truck collided with two vehicles on Wednesday evening.

A report from the Oregon State Police said at about 5:50 p.m. troopers and medical personnel were sent to Interstate Five, about a mile south of Rice Valley for a report that a U-Haul had rolled off the roadway. The report said the vehicle had left the right lane of travel, struck two vehicles that were parked alongside the road, and then rolled up an embankment before ending up on the driver’s side.

The report said the U-Haul driver claimed a semi had been passing him which caused him to get pulled to the left, so he attempted to correct back to the right. All three drivers declined medical attention. The vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

The U-Haul driver, a 61-year old man, was cited for failing to drive within a lane.
