MAN CITED TWICE ON FRIDAY

A Roseburg man was cited twice in less than an hour on Friday.

A report from Roseburg Police said at 11:20 a.m. the 65-year old was allegedly throwing his belongings at the manager of the Howard Johnson Motel on Northeast Stephens, and was refusing to leave. The man had allegedly knocked over a dresser in the room and had broken some of the drawers. The suspect was cited for second degree counts of criminal mischief and criminal trespass, and then was released.

At 12:15 p.m. the man was seen sitting on the side of the road, near the motel, throwing his belongings into traffic. He was cited for second degree disorderly conduct and for offensive littering. He was again released after being cited.
