COVID-19 CLAIMS 9 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 397 AS OF TUESDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 9 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 397 as of Tuesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 237 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 23,676. The new cases include:

*48 in Marion County

*32 in Malheur County

*29 in Multnomah County

*25 in Washington County

*20 in Jackson County

*12 in Umatilla County

*11 in Clackamas County

*10 in Yamhill County

*8 in Josephine County

*6 in Klamath County

*5 in Deschutes County

*4 each in Jefferson and Linn counties

*3 each in Douglas, Benton, Morrow and Polk counties

*2 each in Columbia, Hood River, Lane and Union counties

*1 each in Baker, Lincoln and Wasco counties

The newly reported deaths ranged in age from 63 to 97. 3 lived in Washington County, 2 each lived in Clackamas and Lincoln counties, with 1 each in Jefferson, Malheur and Washington counties. All had underlying conditions, according to the OHA.
