Two people went to the hospital following an accident where an ambulance and a Jeep collided on Monday.
A report from Roseburg Police said just after 12:00 p.m. a 30-year old ambulance driver was west bound on Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard with emergency lights and sirens on. A patient in the ambulance was headed to the hospital. The report said the ambulance stopped and cleared the intersection with Northeast Winchester and proceed into the middle of the intersection where it collided with the Jeep. That vehicle had been going southbound on Winchester.
The 86-year old motorist was transported to Mercy Medical Center. The patient in the first ambulance was transferred to a different ambulance for their trip to the hospital
