Crews with the Oregon Department of Forestry in the Southwest District are dealing with a small fire which began on Sunday afternoon.
A report said smoke detection equipment spotted a small white column near Graves Creek Road at approximately 4:30 p.m. Eight engines, four crews, and other equipment, including two single engine air tankers from Roseburg, deployed to the fire.
It is burning on five acres of forestland sixteen miles northwest of Rogue River. A wet line had been drawn around the fire, as of Sunday night.
