The American Red Cross has an urgent need for blood donations to prevent another blood shortage. Information from the organization said people who are healthy, feeling well and eligible to give blood or platelets, are urged to make an appointment to donate as soon as possible
Blood drives next week include:
*Monday August 17th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Red Cross Blood Donation Center on Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard.
*Monday August 17th from 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Winston Community Center on Grape Street.
*Tuesday August 18th from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Roseburg Public Safety Center on Northeast Douglas Avenue.
*Wednesday August 19th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Westside Christian Church on West Harvard Avenue.
*Thursday August 20th from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Sutherlin Community Center on Willamette Street.
*Friday August 21st from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Red Cross Blood Donation Center.
*Friday August 21st from 1:00 p.m.to 6:30 p.m. at Sutherlin Family Church on West Sixth Avenue.
