The driver was hospitalized after a back-yard accident on Wednesday afternoon in the Azalea area.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at about 4:45 p.m. a 56-year old Roseburg man crashed his vehicle into the side of a pickup which was parked in a yard in the 300 block of Azalea Glen Road.

The report said the driver did not seem very coherent. A witness said the man seemed to be having a medical event when he left the road.

The man was transported to Three Rivers Medical Center.
