One driver was taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle wreck on Tuesday night.

A report from the Oregon State Police, said just after 9:15 p.m. an eastbound sedan attempted to make a left hand turn off of Highway 138E just east of Glide. That vehicle was struck by a westbound sedan. The first vehicle rolled and came to rest in the westbound lane.

The report said the first driver was transported to Mercy Medical Center for treatment of what appeared to be minor injuries sustained due to airbag deployment. Both vehicles had heavy front-end damage. Witnesses said the second vehicle was traveling without its headlights, prior to the crash, and going at a high rate of speed.

The driver of the second vehicle was cited for operating a vehicle without the required lighting. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
