ST VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY TO DISTRIBUTE FRESH FOOD

August 10, 2020 10:00 a.m.

The St. Vincent de Paul Society will distribute fresh food on Tuesday morning.

Mike Reese of the non-profit, said the Roseburg chapter of the group will have the food boxes in the parking lot of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at the corner of West Harvard and Stewart Parkway. Distribution will start at 7:30 a.m. The fresh food will need to be refrigerated. Those in need can simply go to the location and open their trunk and the food box will be placed inside.

Sutherlin St. Vincent de Paul will hand out the food boxes Tuesday beginning at 8:00 a.m. from in front of the thrift store on West Central. In Myrtle Creek the food will be available at the parking lot near the Myrtle Creek bridge starting at 7:30 a.m.

The boxes are part of a grant the Catholic Church in western Oregon has received to help the less fortune.
