ROSEBURG COUNCIL TO HOLD WORK STUDY SESSION ON THE UNHOUSED

The Roseburg City Council will have another work study session to explore strategies to address issues related to unhoused individuals, on Monday night.

Councilors will hear from State Representative Gary Leif and his staff member Mike Fieldman. Fieldman is the former Executive Director of the United Community Action Network. Presentations will also be made by representatives of Rogue Retreat, Parole and Probation, Circuit Court judges Ann Marie Simmons and Jason Mahan, Roseburg Police Chief Gary Klopfenstein and City Prosecutor Jim Forrester.

No public comment will be taken. The meeting will be held via Zoom. Residents can watch the meeting on the city’s website, it Facebook page and on Charter Cable channel 191.

It will run from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
