MAN JAILED AFTER STABBING INCIDENT

A 24-year old man was jailed following a stabbing incident in Winston on Saturday night.

Sergeant Mike Miller of the Winston Police Department said just after 10:30 p.m. police responded to Main Street near Thompson. Miller said four individuals were involved in a disturbance in the middle of the street. Officers found an 18-year old male with a stab wound to his abdomen.

Miller said after an investigation, 24-year old Andrew Snyder was arrested on charges of first-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon. Bail was set at $425,000.

Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation.
