1 more person has received a positive test result for COVID-19 in Douglas County as of Thursday.
An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 122. 118 are people that have received positive test results and 4 are presumptive. There has been 1 death. No one is currently hospitalized. 34 people are in isolation. 7,678 people have tested negative for COVID-19 in the county.
County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer told News Radio 1240 KQEN that most newer cases have been linked to travel outside the county, and especially travel outside the state of Oregon. He said some cases have also been connected to social gatherings.
The next drive through testing clinic with the Douglas Public Health Network will be Friday in Roseburg.
