Increasing fire danger has prompted the Coos Forest Protective Association to impose a Level 2 industrial closure on lands in parts of western Douglas County and eastern Coos County.
Jef Chase of CFPA said these activities are now prohibited between 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.:
*Operation of power saws, except at loading sites
*Feller-bunchers with rotary head saws
*Cable yarding
*Blasting
*Welding, cutting or grinding of metal
