HEAT ADVISORY CONTINUES THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT

July 27, 2020 4:30 a.m.

A Heat Advisory continues until Monday night at 8:00 p.m. for a wide area of southern Oregon, including central Douglas County.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said afternoon highs will range between 95 and 101 degrees. The advisory said very hot temperatures will significantly increase the potential for heat related illnesses, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.

Residents should drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room and check up on neighbors and relatives. Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles.
