Two people were hurt in a traffic accident on Tuesday.

A report from the Roseburg Police said at about 10:15 a.m. a 52-year old man was stopped in the inside lane of Stewart Parkway at the intersection with Renann with traffic in front of him. A 64-year old woman was traveling south behind the first vehicle and was distracted. The report said the woman was unable to stop in time and ran into the back bumper of the first vehicle.

The first driver complained of back pain while the second driver appeared to have an injured hand.  The second vehicle had to be towed from the scene.

The driver who caused the accident was cited for following too closely.
